Campaigns
Compose, send, schedule, warm up, and track bulk email campaigns.
A campaign sends one email to many recipients and tracks how they engage. You build one in a short wizard, then send it now, schedule it, or ramp it up gradually with domain warmup.
Creating a campaign
Click New campaign (or Send → Campaign). The composer is a five-step wizard with a live preview beside it:
- Setup — name the campaign and set its sender address(es), subject line(s), an optional Reply-To, and an optional preheader (the preview text shown after the subject). Senders must be on a verified domain; the app suggests your verified domains and warns if you try to send from a free mailbox.
- Content — write the email body (HTML or plain text), or load a template. Choose an unsubscribe footer style, add attachments where enabled, and use Insert variable to drop in personalization tokens.
- Contacts — choose the audience: all contacts, one or more groups, specific contacts, or a mix. A running recipient count keeps you honest, and you can add a new contact inline.
- Schedule — pick how to deliver (see below).
- Review — see the final email and recipient summary, then confirm.
You can move between steps using the stepper, and save a draft at any point — an unsaved-changes guard warns you before you navigate away.
Send a test first
From the Content step, click Send test to email a single preview to yourself (it uses the first sender, first subject, and current body). Always test before a real send.
A/B subjects and senders
Add more than one subject or from address and the campaign distributes them round-robin across recipients — a simple A/B test. The campaign detail page labels these "round-robin".
Delivery options
On the Schedule step, choose one:
- Send now — starts immediately. You're taken to the campaign page, which shows live sending progress (it keeps going if you leave).
- Schedule for later — pick a future date and time (shown in your local timezone); the campaign waits in Scheduled status and sends automatically.
- Domain warmup — ramp volume gradually to build a new domain's reputation. Configure the start volume (e.g. 50/day), the daily increment (fixed or +10–25%), and a bounce/complaint threshold (tight/normal/relaxed) that auto-pauses the campaign if deliverability slips. The page estimates how long the warmup will take.
Tracking a campaign
Open a campaign to see headline stats — recipients, delivered, opened, clicked — plus its subjects, senders, attachments, and a per-recipient table showing each person's status (sent, delivered, opened, clicked, bounced, complained, unsubscribed) and last event. Warmup campaigns also show a progress bar and the next batch time. For trends over time, see Analytics.
Managing campaigns
The campaigns list shows status (Draft, Scheduled, Sending, Paused, Sent, Canceled), recipient totals, and engagement. Filter by status, select rows to delete in bulk, or use a campaign's menu to:
| Action | When it's available |
|---|---|
| Edit | Draft or scheduled campaigns. |
| Send now / Schedule | Draft or scheduled. |
| Cancel schedule | Scheduled (returns it to draft). |
| Resume warmup | A paused warmup campaign. |
| Retry failed | Sent campaigns that had failures. |
| Resend to non-openers | Sent campaigns — drafts a follow-up to people who didn't open. |
| Duplicate | Any campaign — creates an editable draft copy. |
| Delete | Any campaign. |
Every send is checked against your send quota, verified senders, and the suppression list — suppressed addresses are skipped automatically.
